Illinois Same-Sex Couple Becomes State’s First To Wed — 6 Months Ahead Of Time
I’m not for nor against gay marriage. But whenever I saw a same-sex marriage bill was passed in a particular state, I thought of the women’s rights movement in last century. Many men were very opposed to allow women to have more rights, just like a lot of people are against same-sex marriage. Every thing has to have a progress to become acceptable by all people. I don’t judge whether this is right or wrong, but I felt awkward when some of my friends told me that they were homosexual. I believe that one day the society will start accepting same-sex marriage, like men accepting women to have more rights.
